Bret Matteson is uniquely experienced and well-rounded Global Hospitality and Real Estate Executive with a proven track record of business andprofessional growth working in demanding and challenging environments, in the United States, Canada, Caribbean, United Kingdom, Italy, Portugal,Australia and Ghana. His experience spans decades working for iconic luxury hotel brands like Ritz-Carlton and Four Seasons as well as leadingindependent hotels like The New York Palace. In his most recent position at Ashkenazy Acquisitions, he oversaw the creation and operation of the hoteldivision, which acquired $2B in properties within 4 years, with investment positions in the New York Plaza Hotel, the Fairmont Copley Plaza HotelBoston, the JW Marriott Grosvenor House Hotel London as well as others in New York City and Aspen. Prior to joining Ashkenazy Acquisition, he was President of Columbia Hospitality, a renowned hospitality management company based in Seattle and while there, was a key leader in the development of the Four Seasons Hotel and Residences Seattle, Cedarbrook Lodge, provided a variety of consulting services including The Icon Hotel Houston, The Residences at Little Nell Aspen, Quicksilver Hotels and Resorts, Ferragamo/ Lungarno Hotels and established an international office based in Lisbon, Portugal. He is currently providing services for the Boardwalk at Bricktown project in Oklahoma City, which includes the Dream Hotel and Residences, the Hardrock Hotel and Residences, as well as restaurant and entertainment experiences.
